DESCRIPTION
“Armour Off” is a dance film commissioned by Croi Glan Integrated Dance Company. It captures a performance by dancer Linda Fearon who in lieu of presenting a cancelled live performance was instead filmed at her home in Co. Armagh, Ireland at the height of lockdown 2020. The film interweaves movement and spoken word written by Linda, exploring her relationship with her body and self throughout her life.

Anna Rodgers
Anna Rodgers is an IFTA (Irish Film & Television Award) award winning Irish director and producer. Her films include “Somebody to Love”, a documentary about relationships and disability, and “Hold on Tight” which examines the social and personal impact of LGBT public displays of affection. “Hold on Tight” and her subsequent film “Novena”, about a gay and lesbian event at a Catholic church were nominated for the Iris Prize. Anna produced “Growing up Gay”, the first series about LGBT youth for Irish television and the IFTA nominated documentary “The Story of Yes” which captures the story of the marriage equality referendum. She is currently directing “How To Tell a Secret”, a feature documentary about HIV disclosure for the Arts Council with theatre and film director Shaun Dunne.
