The first documentary film festival
in Poland presenting the oeuvre
of female film auteurs.
HER Docs Film Festival is a celebration of the documentary film,
a space for exchanging of ideas and lively debate, a time of inspiring screenings,
meetings, workshops and music events. It is a festival for those who are curious about the world!
We want the HER Docs Film Festival to become a showcase of equality
- not only in the documentary film industry.
The full screening schedule has been announced!
The sections featured in this year's programme are:
#Best of Fests
You can buy tickets both at www.kinoteka.pl and at the Kinoteka cinema's ticket offices.

you can buy individual tickets for all screenings at only 16 PLN (less than 4 euro!).
In turn, for real cinema lovers and cinema fans we have even better news -
- in the 5+ Package and the 10+ Package, a single ticket costs only 14 PLN and 12 PLN respectively
(packages are available only directly at the Kinoteka cinema's ticket offices).
The selected film projects have been announced!
Over 80 short- and feature-length documentary and experimental films,

including works by students and graduates of major film schools in the Poland:
Lodz Film School, Wajda School, Warsaw Film School, Gdynia Film School,
Katowice Film School and films completed as part of the Munk Studio's "First Documentary" program.
16 short- and feature-length films have been selected
and will be presented in the “New Faces” film section.

which will take place March 6-10, 2020 at the Kinoteka cinema in Warsaw.

HER Docs Film Festival is created thanks to the passion
of many passionate people.
As an event organized in Poland for the first time, we have a smaller
chance of receiving subsidies from Polish grant programs and funding schemes.
We are looking for alternatives that will allow the first edition of the Festival
to take place March 6-10, 2020 in Warsaw, and HER Docs to become a cyclic event
and an integral part of the cultural map of Poland.
Only you can make it happen!
